Kokanastha Community

We belong to the Brahmin community of Konkan, and also called Chitpavan, Chitpawan or Kobra. We speak Marathi, Chitpavani and Konkani. Traditionally we were a community of priests who have now taken up white collar jobs and engaged in business.
